Mark Thiele received his BA with honors from A.N.U. Canberra in 1998.  The Australian native went on to serve as Design Associate at the Jam Factory Glass Studio in Adelaide, Australia.  Thiele draws inspiration from nature; his glass reflects the pulse of the forest, water, and sky with undulating lines and a strong composition.

“My work is a tribute to the innate beauty and unfolding that I discover in nature.  Pattern, rhythm and movement, found in this beauty, are expressed through my work as a reinterpretation of the natural divinity that is to be found within ourselves and our surroundings.”
