Canberra in 1998.  The Australian native went on to serve as Design Associate at the Jam Factory Glass Studio in Adelaide, Australia.  Thiele draws inspiration from nature; his glass reflects the pulse of the forest, water, and sky with undulating lines and a strong composition. “My work is a tribute to the innate beauty and unfolding that I discover in nature.  Pattern, rhythm and movement, found in this beauty, are expressed through my work as a reinterpretation of the natural divinity that is to be found within ourselves and our surroundings.”
