Bobbie Burgers received a B.A. in Art History in 1996 from the University of Victoria. In 1997 she attended summer sessions at The Emily Carr Institute of Art and Design. Burgers is known for her luscious bouquets and pastoral landscapes which focus on sumptuous colour and wild movement. Her work has become richer, denser and more complex as her ideas rapidly evolve. She has exhibited in more than twenty three solo and group exhibitions in the past five years.

Bobbie Burgers' home and artwork were featured in the June 2003 and the May2009 issues of Canadian House and Home magazine and her paintings highlighted in a feature article in the Spring 2005 issue of Galleries West.

Burger's next solo exhibition takes place at Foster/White Gallery in March 2010.
